Notification Events

Legal Signing ships with a few built in notification events you can use in your form notifications to fire off different notifications at different points in your workflows.

• Ready for Signing – This is the most important notification event in regards to how Legal Signing works, this is sent to a signer when it is their time to participate in the signing session. A special notification with a default message is added to a form automatically whenever you add a signing workflow to a Legal Signing feed.
• Signing Session Started – Sends when a signing session is created.
• Signing Session Completed – Sends when a signing session is completed.
• Signing Session Expired – Sends when a signing session expires.

Note: With the exception of the Signing Session Started event, all of these notifications events lack a “Send To” setting to configure where the notification will be sent.

This is because with these notification events the email addresses for the signers will be pulled automatically from the signing workflow settings for the form.
